The GREENERY project is the brainchild of Hortorus Bartosiewicz Sp.J., a company which has been successfully operating on the gardening centre market for 25 years. The brand owners are well aware of the challenges the Producers and wholesale Recipients of plants have to face. This awareness is also backed by experience in the Polish Association of Garden Centres (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Centrów Ogrodniczych) and in the group purchasing association Dobre Centrum Ogrodnicze.
A close observation of the gardening market in Poland and abroad has resulted in the creation of the GREENERY project - a new channel of plants distribution, which is a combination of traditional trade fairs and B2B online buying. This solution, a standard procedure in Western Europe, is now available in Poland.
GREENERY provides the missing link in the plant material supply chain and solves many problems of the industry, e.g. it facilitates work after-season - by reducing the problem of minimum delivery requirements, it allows to present plants at their best stage of vegetation to a wide group of wholesale Recipients; it also makes it easier to introduce novelties onto the market and cuts down formalities.
